Overview
Five-star luxury dressed as an old farmhouse. This is Villa Seli, balancing perfectly between two different worlds and two different timelines. Literally and metaphorically set apart, it leaves you no room to think about it but plenty of room for living it.
Located in a private hilltop full of olive and orange trees and only 5 minutes’ walk from the old village of Gerani, it is the perfect place to unwind and reflect past times when olive farming was the only profession.
Villa Seli sleeps 10-12 people in 5 bedrooms. All bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. It also features a gym and an indoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi, 4 bathrooms and several balconies. The kitchen is extensively equipped with everything you could ever need: a dishwasher, oven, large fridge, washing machine, microwave, sandwich toaster and meat grill. Further, you will enjoy a cable TV and a DVD player.
The generous external terrace overlooks the swimming pool and provides shade in the heat of the day. Take your morning coffee in the garden studded with scarlet hibiscus and crimson bougainvillea and lose yourself in the spectacular views to Gerani and Maleme bays.
LOCATION
The beach is never far away in Crete. Gerani beach one of the most peaceful and clean 2 km stretches of sandy shoreline in west Crete is only a 5 minutes’ drive. So is the famous Platanias sea side resort, while Agia Marina is 10 minutes away. In Platanias you will find plenty of restaurants and shops. Further, in the old village of Gerani there is a traditional grocery store (only a 5-minute stroll down the hill) for basic provisions. The village also boasts two traditional Byzantine-style churches and a traditional cafe.
