Villas in Mykonos

• Spend time getting lost in Mykonos Town (Chora), where narrow streets twist between the whitewashed buildings, small boutiques and tucked-away cafés.
• Relax on Psarou Beach, known for its crystal clear water and exciting atmosphere, or head to Agios Sostis for something a bit quieter and more laid back.
• Watch the sunset from Little Venice, where the buildings sit right on the water and the sky slowly changes colour as the evening sets in. 
• Take a boat trip out to Delos, one of Greece’s most important archaeological sites. It’s just a short ride from the island.
• Spend an afternoon beach-hopping along the south coast. You can stop at places like Paraga and Ornos for a mix of relaxed swimming and beachside dining.

Food in Mykonos takes advantage of all of the fresh ingredients and simple flavours that are available. You’ll find dishes like kopanisti (a spicy local cheese), louza (cured pork with herbs), and plenty of fresh grilled fish served with olive oil and lemon.

There’s a mix of traditional tavernas and more modern dining spots, so you can keep things casual or go a bit more refined depending on the evening. Local wines are easy to come by, and cocktails tend to appear as the sun starts to dip, especially along the coast.
